When a flat even wash wins

Coves, under cabinet lines, shelf lighting, and wall grazing want the same thing: hide the source, light the surface. Tape gives separate control over output level, color temperature, LED density, and cover material, and the strip can be replaced later.

The profile does more than tidy an edge. Aluminum helps dissipate the heat a strip generates, and a diffusing cover reduces without guaranteeing the removal of visible dots, with density and depth carrying the rest.
