Laundry Room LED Strip Lighting for Counters and Cabinets
Laundry room LED strip lighting is task light first: a bright, even line under the wall cabinets and along the folding counter so you can sort colors and read care labels, plus enough general fill that nothing hides in a corner. Because a laundry room has a sink and appliances, moisture is part of the picture, so match the strip's exact ingress protection rating to each zone rather than calling anything "waterproof," and make sure the whole system, not just the tape, suits where it goes. Aim for real output, high color rendering, and hardware rated for the spot it lives in.
Where laundry room LED strip lighting does the most good
The counter is the heart of it. A strip mounted under the wall cabinets throws light straight down onto the folding surface with no shadow from your own hands, which is exactly what under-cabinet task lighting is for. Add a run inside deep cabinets or along an open shelf so you are not reaching into a dark space for detergent, and a general line along a soffit or ceiling edge to fill the room. Plan them as one layout so the brightness holds up from the machines to the counter.
A continuous, dot-free band reads cleaner under a cabinet than a row of points, and a COB strip gives that smooth line. Whether COB or another format suits a spot depends on light output, viewing distance, any channel and diffuser, LED density, and control options, so judge it per product.
