What a smart LED controller does
A smart LED controller is a low-voltage device. It goes between the driver and the strip, and it modulates the DC output to set brightness, color, and often scenes and schedules through an app or a wireless remote. Because it works on the strip’s own voltage, it can address the strip’s channels directly, which is what makes color mixing, tunable white, and separate zones possible.
