Reusable runs that pack down and go back up

Cut in the shop, never on the show floor. Depending on the product, many strips take cuts at designated points and rejoin with compatible connectors or by soldering, so settle the cut interval and joining method for the item you buy. Strain relief is the detail exhibitors skip. Anchor each lead a few inches back from the pad so crate handling pulls on the anchor, not the joint. Bag each module's hardware with the module, and ship one spare in every common length.

Mounting to rented structure without leaving a mark

Rented panels and modular frames arrive with a damage schedule, and adhesive residue counts against it. Where the frame system has an extrusion slot, mount into it. Where it does not, clamp or magnet onto a frame member, or build the run onto your own substrate and hang that. Voltage matches exactly, 24V tape to a 24V supply, never crossed. Modules wire in parallel back to the driver rather than in series, so no section sits downstream of another. Line voltage work, hardwired supplies, and junction boxes belong to the licensed electrician the venue requires, working to the manufacturer instructions, local code, and the NEC.

Brand color that holds from one show to the next

A booth usually needs two looks from one installation: a brand color across the graphic wall and a neutral white over demo tables. One product covering both saves carrying two sets of tape.
