How to dim single-color LED strip lights
A single-color strip produces one fixed light output, such as a warm white, a neutral white, a cool white, or a single fixed color. It carries one channel, usually on two conductors, so the only variable you can change is brightness. That is different from tunable white, which shifts between warm and cool, and from RGB, which mixes colors. Because a single-color strip has nothing to mix, it does not need a multi-channel controller, and pairing one with a full color controller usually means paying for features that go unused.
