Never rely on the word "waterproof" for a space like this. Name the exact rating and match it to the exposure. A sealed, conditioned sunroom that stays dry can often use a standard indoor strip in a covered detail. Keep the voltage matched: a 24V strip pairs with a 24V driver, never a 12V one. Total the watts per foot times your run length, keep at least 20 percent current headroom (verify that guidance before you rely on it), and choose a driver rated for that load and its location. Wire the runs in parallel from the driver instead of in series so the far end of a long perimeter holds up. Strips generate heat while running, another reason to leave airflow around the driver. Any hardwired driver, junction box, exterior-rated enclosure, wall dimmer, or new circuit is line-voltage work, so work to the manufacturer instructions, local code, and the NEC where it applies, with a licensed electrician when required.
